Custom 3D Printing Services

Since May 2015 I have been offering custom 3D printing and CAD services. Clients can come to me with a 3D file ready to go or just an the starting seed of an idea and I can help bring it into reality via 3D printing on FDM and DLP style printers, with low to high quality prints ranging from 0.035mm to 0.4mm layer height resolutions. I specialize in mechanical CAD though have some capabilities to do organic modeling.

Remanufacturing Old Parts

Reproduction of a component for a photo development machine that is no longer manufactured. Images show the original (left) compared to the 3D printed reproduction (right).

Replacement Parts

Repair of the rear door window hatch of a 2008 Ford Escape involved removing a plastic grommet that also doubled as a hold down for some wiring. One of the two plastics had deteriorated so a replacement was 3D printed after some quick CAD work. Original is shown in black, the replacement pieces are shown in white.

Rapid Prototyping

With wooden models of two fishing lure designs that a client provided I was able to create CAD models for producing the 3D printed versions which were then used by the client to mold and cast replicas.
