Jewelry Packaging Design for Vida’s Angels

I started workoing with Vida’s Angels as a client at the Carver Innovation Center and after leaving the center Vida continued to seek out my help to design and manufacture a custom packaging design for their line of highend jewelry. The design was prioritzed to offer a unique packaging experience, having the package function as a pleasant storage method, and to be built from sustainable materials. The finished product is a wooden box produced with a laser cutter that features a “living” hinge for the spine and a latching mechanism for keeping it closed. The entire assembly is comprised of only wood and glue making it low cost, sustainable, and easy to produce en masse. All of the boxes you see here were designed and manufactured by myself.
