FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Team Coaching

In my 2nd year as a teacher with Perspectives Charter Schools I founded and coached the school’s first competitive robotics team. As part of the international FIRST robotics program our team competed against other local robotics teams by designing, constructing, and programming our robots to complete tasked assigned per the competition’s rules and regulations. I was the lead coach for both years that I oversaw the program, helping the team of 10-15 students to go through the engineering design process to create and develop the robot.
